How to capture a specific area of the screen
1. Click the 'Target' button, and check the 'Rectangle on a screen'.
- Green-line rectangle window will pop up, you can move and resize the rectangle window.
2. Click the ' ● REC ' button to record/stop.

How to capture the entire desktop screen of Windows
To record the entire desktop screen of Windows, simply you can use the 'Full screen' option in the 'Rectangle Window'
To capture the desktop screen without the 'Rectangle Window' above, please follow the steps below:
1. Click the 'Target' button, and check the 'Rectangle on a screen'.
- Green-line rectangle window will pop up.
2. Minimize the Bandicam main window.
3. Click "Find Window" to select the recording target
- When you click the 'Find Window', you will see a red line rectangle.
- To capture the entire desktop screen, click the desktop background.
- When you click the desktop background, the red line will disappear; it means it's ready to record
4. To start recording, click the 'F12' function key.
5. To stop recording, click the 'F12' function key again.
6. To watch the recording file, click the 'Open' button under the 'General' tab of the Bandicam.
7. To see the rectangle screen window again, click the 'Direct/OpenGL window' and then click the 'Rectangle on a screen' mode.
